Who we are: Our name is DonorDirect because 100% of donors’ contributions go directly to the need. We are a small-scale no-frills nonprofit whose board and staff serve on a volunteer basis.

“Tide Me Over” LENDING Fund:

We make small one-time interest-free crisis-prevention loans to qualified citizens who live or work in the Roaring Fork Valley. As repaid, the money is folded back into the Fund. Talk about recycling!

The potential borrower completes a detailed application and release of credit information to DonorDirect. If qualified and approved, DonorDirect pays up to $1,500 directly to the provider of such essentials as housing, food, health care, clothing, and/or transportation for which the borrower signs a Promissory Note to repay the loan within 24 months.

DonorDirect has made 133 “Tide Me Over” crisis-prevention loans totaling $111,188 to benefit 161 children, 113 women, and 64 men.
